moab, 2022

waoah buddy we r still testing

in october 2022, i got a chance to go on a trip to moab, utah and meet some of my friends online! it was like really excited, not only was it my first time getting to travel post-covid, it was also my first time getting to meet homies online (why are all the homies on coasts, i am so sad!!!!). moab was a centralized location for all of us, so it made sense and idk we just spent the year holding to on see the beautiful arches and rocks that only moab could offer us.

the first night, unfortunately noah's flight was delayed! but grim and i took the day to rest and walk the giant cycling/walking path. our hotel was located a bit further out from town, but it was nice to just walk and enjoy the air and see all the motels and inns along the way.my favorite momennt was when grim found a glittery piece of biciclye streamers and pointed it, and said "that's me." meanwhile, i found a discarded mcdonald's fries box and said that's me.

i don't know how to express how much i'm in love with the la sal mountains in the distance? they are so comforting....

when i got home, i didn't realize how lonely my shadow could be. there was something so magical seeing our shadows going on this beautiful journey together, it makes me so soft. the first picture in the set belowis the formation called 'the three gossips' and it's like,that's us!! that's the gamers!! there is a picture i didn't include, but it's me sitting in the backseat with grim and noah in the front, while we drove back home. and i took a picture of them just chatting, while i sat in the backseat and guys it was just such a warm experience gettign to sit in the backseat, listening to two people i care about talk! it was so nice, i hope you all get a chance to just listen to your loved ones too
